BEL AE Eligibility 2026

Candidates should meet the minimum requirements mentioned in the BEL AE Eligibility 2026 to apply for the recruitment. 

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

 Service Experience

• Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen from the Indian Air Force.

• Must have completed at least 15 years of service in the Indian Air Force.

• Must have held the rank of Junior Warrant Officer (JWO) or above at the time of discharge.

• Date of retirement from IAF should be on or before August 1, 2026.

 Upper Age Limit (As on 01.08.2026)

• General Candidates: 50 years

• OBC (NCL) Candidates: 53 years

• SC / ST Candidates: 55 years

BEL AE Selection Process 2026

BEL AE Selection Process 2026 consists of two stages:

• Written Test: Shortlisted eligible candidates will appear for a written test.

• Interview: Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for an interview in a 1:7 ratio, based on category vacancies.

• Medical Fitness & Background Verification: Selected candidates must pass a pre-employment medical examination and antecedent verification.

BEL AE Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be placed in the E-I Grade, with a salary of ₹30,000 – 3% – ₹1,20,000.

• Basic Pay

• Dearness Allowance (DA)

• House Rent Allowance (HRA)

• Perquisites at the rate of 35% of annual basic pay

• Medical reimbursement, Group Insurance, Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, and Performance Related Pay (PRP) as per company rules
