BEL Probationary Engineer Vacancy 2025

 Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has notified 340 vacancies for the post of Probationary Engineer (E-II Grade). The total number of posts may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Management based on the actual requirement at the time of recruitment.

BEL Probationary Engineer Educational Qualification

The essential qualification for the Probationary Engineer post is a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering Graduate from AICTE approved Colleges. Candidates with a first class in AMIE/AMIETE/GIETE in the relevant disciplines are also eligible. Other equivalent disciplines and dual specializations will NOT be considered.

The degree must be in one of the following disciplines:

• Electronics: Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication 

• Mechanical

• Computer Science: Computer Science, Computer Science & Engg & Computer Science Engg.

BEL Probationary Engineer Apply Online 2025

The application process is entirely online.

Steps to Apply Online:

1. Visit the official website – www.bel-india.in.

2. Registration/Sign-Up (Step-I): Click on the registration link, fill in Personal and Contact details, and press the "Generate OTP" button Enter both OTPs sent to the registered Mobile No. and E-mail ID for verification, agree to the terms, and click "Submit". An Application Sequence No. (User ID) & Password will be received.

3. Filling Application (Step-II): Click "Go to Application" (or re-login)53. Complete fields for Personal Details, Additional Details, Communication Details, Qualification Details, Declaration.

4. Upload Documents: Upload a scanned copy of the recent passport size color Photograph (min. 100 KB, max. 200 KB, in .jpg/.jpeg format) and Scanned Signature (min. 80KB to 150KB, in .jpg/.jpeg format).

5. Submit Application and Pay Fee: Preview the application and click "Submit"56. Candidates belonging to the fee-paying categories will be redirected to the SBI e-Pay Lite payment gateway to deposit the fee.

6. Download Confirmation: After successful submission and payment, print and retain the Application Form and Payment Acknowledgement Slip for future reference.

BEL Probationary Engineer Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the Probationary Engineer post comprises two main stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and whose online applications are accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the CBT.

• Weightage: 85 Marks.

• Duration: 120 minutes.

• Questions: 125 Questions (100 Technical Questions and 25 General Aptitude and Reasoning Questions).

• Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer. Negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

2. Interview: Based on the performance in the CBT, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for the interview in the ratio of 1:5.

• Weightage: 15 Marks.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in both the Computer Based Test and the Interview.

BEL Probationary Engineer Salary 2025

 Selected candidates will receive the pay scale and emoluments as detailed below, which include a competitive salary along with additional allowances and benefits: 

• Grade: E-II Grade 

• Basic Pay Scale: Rs. 40,000-3%-1,40,000

• CTC: Approximately Rs. 13 lacs

• Allowances & Benefits: In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement, and other perquisites as admissible.
