Age Limit (as on 31.05.2025)
To be eligible for ECIL Apprentices 2025, the upper age limit of candidates should not exceed 30 years as on 31st May 2025. However, age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as follows:
- General: Up to 30 years
- OBC: Up to 33 years (including 3 years relaxation)
- SC/ST: Up to 35 years (including 5 years relaxation)
- PwBD: Up to 40 years (including 10 years relaxation)
- Domiciled in J&K (1980–1989): Up to 35 years
ECIL Apprentice Selection Process 2025
The ECIL Apprentice selection procedure involves the following stages:
- Shortlisting of candidates will be based on marks obtained in the ITI certificate.
- In case of a tie, marks secured in Class 10th will be considered.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification, conducted at Hyderabad.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on ITI marks, trade, and category.
ECIL Apprentice Salary 2025
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 23,368. The initial contract is for one year, extendable up to four years based on project requirements and performance.
They will also be entitled to benefits such as medical insurance, provident fund contributions by the company, TA/DA, and paid leave as per company policies.
