The 355 ITI vacancies include 255 seats in two-year trades and 100 seats in one-year trades. Some of the larger vacancies include Fitter – 110, Electrician – 35, Turner – 25, Machinist – 22 and COPA – 70.
The Engineering Graduate category has 133 seats, with Mechanical Engineering having the highest allocation at 55 posts. Diploma apprentices account for 61 seats, while 78 posts are available for non-technical graduates.
For non-technical graduates, the vacancies include BA – 40, B.Com – 20, B.Sc – 15 and BBA – 3.

The eligibility requirement depends on the category of apprenticeship.
Candidates applying for ITI trades should have passed ITI in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT-affiliated institute. Registration on the NAPS portal is mandatory, and candidates must provide their registration number in the application. Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or are registered as apprentices elsewhere are not eligible.
Engineering Graduate applicants require a relevant B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharm degree. Diploma candidates need the prescribed diploma qualification, while non-technical graduate applicants require a relevant BA, B.Com, B.Sc or BBA degree.
The qualifying qualification must have been completed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. Candidates whose result is awaited, including those with pending backlogs or supplementary results, are not eligible.
Registration on the NATS 2.0 portal is mandatory for Graduate, Diploma and Non-Technical Graduate candidates.
The upper age limit is 27 years under the stated eligibility conditions. The reference details provide relaxation of 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PwBD candidates.

There is no written examination or interview for this recruitment. Selection is based on academic merit, followed by physical document verification.
For ITI candidates, the merit score is calculated using:
70% weightage to SSC marks + 30% weightage to ITI marks.
For Graduate, Diploma and Non-Technical Graduate candidates, merit is based on the marks in the qualifying degree or diploma.
The subsequent stages include document verification, publication of the final shortlisted list and joining, subject to medical fitness and police verification.
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to their apprenticeship category.
