Candidates should use the official marking scheme to calculate their scores.
| Particulars | Marks |
| Total Questions | 100 |
| Correct Answer | +1 mark |
| Incorrect Answer | –⅓ mark |
| Unattempted Question | 0 |
The negative marking of one-third marks applies for every wrong answer.
Candidates can estimate their scores using the official marking formula.
Tentative Score = (1 × Correct Answers) – (⅓ × Incorrect Answers)
If a candidate has:
72 correct answers
18 incorrect answers
Then the score calculation will be:
72 – (18 × ⅓)
72 – 6 = 66 marks
This estimated score helps candidates predict their chances of qualifying for RRB JE CBT 2.
After the objection window closes, RRB will review all challenges and release the final answer key. The result will be prepared based on the revised answers.
Candidates who qualify in CBT 1 will move to the next stages:
RRB JE CBT 2 Exam
Document Verification
Medical Examination
Only candidates clearing all stages will be appointed in Indian Railways.
