According to the official notification released by the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board, the selection methodology for RSMSSB JE comprises written examination and document verification.

Those who secure the highest marks in the examination will be included in the final merit list. In order to qualify for the written exam, candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40% marks. Those who clear both stages will be appointed as Junior Engineers in various reputed departments.

The written examination is the first stage for the RSMSSB JEN Exam. The RSMSSB JE Written Test will comprise two sections viz. General Knowledge and Specific Discipline (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical). The exam will be conducted through CBT or OMR Sheet as per the guidelines of the RSMSSB. The exam will include a total of 120 questions carrying one mark each.

Candidates are required to produce all the original documents and certificates in support of their age limit, educational qualification, domicile, and identification proof. The key documents required for the RSMSSB JE Document Verification round are as follows:
