Candidate nationality is an important criterion for determining eligibility for the exam. Candidates who want to appear for this year's exam must belong to one of the nationalities listed below.
Candidates have to be Indian citizens. Besides, candidates from Nepal or Bhutan are also eligible. Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to reside here permanently, are also eligible to apply.
In addition, individuals of Indian origin who migrated from other nations like Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania are also entitled to apply for FCI, as long as they plan to reside in India permanently.
