Important NABARD Grade A Eligibility Rules You Must Know

Here are some key NABARD Grade A eligibility rules one must know:

  • Only One Application Allowed: Candidates can apply for only one post/discipline. For Grade A (RDBS), only one discipline can be selected, and if multiple applications are submitted, only the last valid application will be considered while the fee for previous applications will be forfeited.

  • Specialization Certificate: If the degree or diploma certificate does not mention the field of specialization, candidates must produce a certificate from the concerned university or institution clearly specifying the specialization.

  • CGPA to Percentage Conversion: If the university provides an official CGPA-to-percentage conversion formula, NABARD will accept it. If no such formula exists, NABARD will use its prescribed CGPA equivalence criteria.

  • Percentage Calculation: The aggregate percentage is calculated using marks obtained across all semesters/years of the qualifying course. The percentage is calculated by dividing the total marks obtained by the maximum marks in all subjects, including honours and optional subjects. Fractional percentages are ignored; for example, 49.99% is treated as less than 50%.
