Central Bank of India SO Selection Process 2026: Central Bank of India SO Recruitment 2026 has been officially announced, offering 26 vacancies in various Risk Management streams. The online application process will be open from April 9 to April 30, 2026. The examination is tentatively scheduled for May 2026, presenting a valuable career opportunity for eligible candidates.

 The Central Bank of India offers Specialist Officer posts that include Chief Manager in Senior Management Grade Scale IV, Senior Managers in Middle Management Grade Scale III, and Managers in Middle across IT and other streams regularly. Management Grade Scale II and Assistant Managers in Junior Management Grade Scale I and it is an excellent opportunity for bank job aspirants.

Central Bank of India SO Selection Process 2026

The Central Bank SO Selection Process 2026 consists of two stages – Online Examination and Interview. Candidates appearing for the Central Bank of India SO exam will be selected based on their marks scored in the different phases. Therefore, the marks obtained in this round will not be considered in the final merit list.

  1. The written test will consist of a total of 100 MCQ-based questions.
  2. Each question will carry 1 mark for the correct answer.
  3. A time duration of 60 Minutes will be provided to solve the question paper.

Central Bank of India SO Interview 2026

Candidates who qualified in the Online Examination have to appear for the Central Bank of India SO Interview 2026. Candidates who qualify the online written examination will be called for a personal interview. The interview carries a total of 100 marks, with a qualifying score of 50% for General / EWS categories and 45% for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD categories.

Final Merit: The final merit list will be prepared based on a combined weighted score of 70% from the online examination and 30% from the personal interview. Merely meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for the test or interview.

Documents to be Produced During Central Bank of India SO Interview

The following documents, along with the self-attested document photocopies, need to be carried out at the time of the Central Bank of India Specialist Officer Interview.
  1. Printout of the Interview Call Letter
  2. System-generated printout of the online application form registered for the recruitment process.
  3. Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB).
  4. Photo Identity Proof as indicated in Point 16 (Documents to be produced) of the advertisement below.
  5. Mark sheets and certificates/degrees for educational qualifications. A proper document from the Board / University declaring the result on or before 13.11.2026 has to be submitted.
  6. The latest Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India in the case of the SC / ST / OBC category candidates.
  7. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming under the creamy layer and/ or if their caste does not find a place in the Central List are not entitled to OBC reservation. They shall be classified as General in the online application form.
  8. Income and Asset Certificate issued by any one of the Authorities as notified by the Government of India in the prescribed format in the case of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates. The candidate should have a valid EWS certificate at the time of application.
