The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has finally released the IBPS PO Notification 2025 pdf on 30th June 2025 at www.ibps.in.
Through IBPS CRP PO/MT CRP-XV, banking aspirants will be selected for the 11 public sector banks. The IBPS PO 2025 Exam aims to fill vacancies for Probationary Officers (CRP-XV PO/MT) positions in various public sector banks.
A total of 5208 Probationary Officer posts are released for the IBPS PO Recruitment 2025. After the completion of online registration, candidates are provided with the opportunity to correct their online applications. The IBPS PO Correction Window 2025 has been opened on July 31, 2025, and the last date is August 1st, 2025.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Before applying online, candidates must review the IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2025. Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CRP exam are as basic as a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received an equivalent qualification that is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.
The candidates must have a valid mark sheet / Degree Certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to take the IBPS PO exam, which is conducted in online mode.
Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak the language.

IBPS PO Nationality
A candidate must be one of the following to apply for the IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination:- Citizens of India
- The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Exiles from Tibet who entered India before January 1, 1962, to stay there permanently.
- PIOs are people of Indian origin who have moved to India permanently from countries like Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam or East African ones like Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi.
IBPS PO 2025 Selection Process
Candidates interested in the IBPS PO position should familiarize themselves with the notification details and understand the complete selection process to secure their final selection as an IBPS PO. IBPS PO selection process for IBPS PO comprises three phases:- Prelims Examination: In the online preliminary examination, the IBPS authority selects candidates for the Mains examination.
- Main Examination: Candidates qualified in this examination will be called for an interview. They must qualify this stage to go to the next stage.
- Interview: The Nodal Bank of the respective State/ UT screens the candidates in the interview round.

The IBPO PO Main Exam is conducted via online mode, it has 5 (4+1) sections carrying marks 200+25, and the duration of the exam is 180+30 minutes. IBPS conducts a descriptive paper for selection of candidates for PO vacancies during its IBPS PO Mains Exam. The parts must be completed in the same order and at the same time as was allocated during the exam. IBPS PO Syllabus 2025
To crack the IBPS PO 2025 exam, it is necessary to know the detailed IBPS PO Syllabus. The IBPS PO Prelims Syllabus and IBPS PO Mains Syllabus are slightly different. Prelims is an objective-type exam conducted within 1 hour for a total of 100 marks and consists of three subjects English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates who qualify for the preliminary exams will be called for the main exam, which will be conducted with 225 marks in 3 hours 30 minutes. The main exam has questions on Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General/Economics/Banking, English, Data Analysis and Interpretation, and English (Letter Writing and Essay). After clearing both the exams, the candidate will be called for an interview, which will be conducted out of 100 marks.
IBPS PO Salary 2025
The basic salary of IBPS PO is INR 36,000. The pay scale is INR 23,700-(980 / 7)-30,560-(1145 / 2)-32,850-(1310 /7)-42,020. Apart from the IBPS PO salary, candidates are also entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and Special Allowances.
