IBPS PO Exam Day Guidelines

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued specific instructions for candidates appearing in the Probationary Officer Prelims Exam. Every aspirant must follow these exam-day rules without exception. Failure to comply with the prescribed guidelines can lead to disqualification from entering the exam hall. 

Candidates are strongly advised to go through the IBPS PO prelims important instructions carefully to avoid any last-minute issues. One key requirement is to paste a recent passport-size photograph on the admit card before reaching the exam centre.

  • Affix your recent photograph on the admit card before the exam.

  • Take a printout of the IBPS PO Admit Card 2025 on A4-size paper and ensure that both your name and photograph are visible.

  • Carry one valid photo ID proof and a recent passport-size photograph along with the call letter for verification.

  • Keep at least two extra passport-size photos with you on the exam day, along with glue, as candidates without photographs will not be permitted inside the hall.

  • Reach the exam centre at least 15 minutes early to complete entry and security formalities smoothly.

  • You can leave the examination hall only after the test is over.

  • Make sure your signature on the admit card matches the one uploaded in your application form. Signatures in capital letters will not be accepted.

  • The photograph scanned and uploaded in the system must be clear and visible.

  • Read all exam-day guidelines carefully before appearing for the test.

  • Carry a transparent water bottle and a ballpoint pen for convenience.

  • Candidates arriving late will not be permitted to take the exam.
