  2. The required percentage in the bachelor’s degree must be calculated as an aggregate across all semesters/years.

(B) Qualification for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR

Candidates must meet any one of the following criteria:

  • Option A: A Master’s degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics/Finance with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate from a recognized Indian or foreign university/institute.
  • Option B: PGDM/MBA in Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate from a recognized Indian or foreign university/institute.
  • Option C: A Master’s degree in Economics in any specialization (such as Agricultural, Business, Developmental, Applied, etc.) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate from a recognized Indian or foreign university/institute.

(C) Qualification for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM

Candidates must meet any one of the following educational qualifications:

A) Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Mathematical Economics / Econometrics / Statistics & Informatics from institutes like IIT Kharagpur or IIT Bombay (Applied Statistics & Informatics), with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.

OR

B) Master’s degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a recognized institute.

OR

C) M.Stat. degree from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

OR

D) Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.

OR

E) Two-year PG Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university/institution, including those of national importance or approved by UGC/AICTE.

RBI Grade B CGPA to Percentage Conversion Criteria
