

The State Bank of India (SBI) will conduct the SBI Clerk 2025 Mains Exam in two shifts — from 8:00 AM to 11:40 AM and shift 2 from 12:30 PM to 4:10 PM, the exam will happen on November 21.
The exact shift timing and reporting details are printed on the SBI Clerk Mains 2025 admit card, and candidates must reach their exam centres accordingly.
SBI announced that the SBI Clerk Mains 2025 examination is scheduled to take place on November 21, 2025. Candidates can view the detailed schedule on the official website — sbi.co.in. Admit cards will soon be released for those who qualified in the preliminary round.
The SBI Clerk Mains will consist of 190 questions carrying 200 marks, with a total duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes. The paper will include four sections:
General/Financial Awareness
General English
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
The test will be conducted in both English and Hindi, except for the English section. Each section has a fixed time limit, and candidates cannot move between sections during the exam. A negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for each incorrect response. There is no sectional cutoff, and marks will be normalised for final merit. The final selection will be based solely on performance in the Mains exam — there will be no interview round.
The SBI Clerk Prelims 2025 were conducted on September 20, 21, and 27, and the results were released on November 4, 2025. This year’s recruitment aims to fill 5,180 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) positions distributed as follows:

The SBI Clerk Exam is conducted annually to recruit candidates for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the State Bank of India. Clerks serve as the primary point of contact in bank branches, handling transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and customer queries.
According to the SBI Clerk Notification 2025, the bank announced 6,589 total vacancies, which include 1,409 backlog posts across various states.
The online application process for SBI Clerk 2025 is now closed, with lakhs of candidates having submitted their forms. The application fee was set at ₹750 for General category candidates and exempted for SC/ST/OBC/PwD applicants. The fee was payable online only and is non-refundable under any circumstance.
