SBI Clerk Mains marks calculation follows a straightforward process with 1 mark per correct answer across 190 questions totaling 200 marks, including higher weightage in Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (50 questions for 60 marks). Apply 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong answer; unattempted questions score zero with no penalty. Official scores undergo normalization via the equi-percentile method across shifts to ensure fairness, using the formula: Candidate's percentile = [(Total candidates in slot - Rank in slot) / (Total candidates - 1)] × 100.
Tally correct answers per section and multiply by marks per question (mostly 1, except select Reasoning questions).
Subtract 0.25 × wrong answers from the raw total for the preliminary score.
Await official, normalized marks on the scorecard, reflecting shift adjustments and final merit position.
