SBI SCO Age Relaxation 2026

Age relaxation is available to eligible reserved-category candidates according to Government of India guidelines wherever applicable.For the 34-post recruitment under Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/11, the prescribed upper-age relaxation includes:

Deputy Vice President - Cyber Innovation & Simulation Lab

Candidates must have any of the following:
  • BE/BTech in any discipline from a recognised university/institution or board.
  • MCA, ME, MTech or MSc in any discipline from a recognised university/institution or board.
Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP and MBA in Technology Management.

Deputy Vice President - Citizen Centric Initiatives

Candidates must have:
  • BE/BTech in any discipline, or
  • MCA, ME, MTech or MSc in any discipline.
An advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology is preferred. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP and PMP are also preferred.

Deputy Vice President - Cyber Security

Candidates must have:
  • BE/BTech in any discipline, or
  • MCA, ME, MTech or MSc in any discipline.
An advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology is preferred. SBI also lists certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP and PMP as preferred qualifications.

Deputy Manager - AI Specialists

Candidates must have one of the following:
  • BTech/BE in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics or Electronics & Communications Engineering, or an equivalent degree with at least 50% marks.
  • MCA.
  • MTech/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Electronics or Electronics & Communications Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
The notification also lists professional certifications related to AI, including Advanced in AI Audit, Advanced in AI Security Management, Advanced in AI Risk, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer and IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate.

Deputy Manager - IT Security Expert

Candidates must have:
  • BTech/BE in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics or Electronics & Communications Engineering with at least 50% marks, or an equivalent degree.
  • MCA.
  • MTech/MSc in the specified technology-related disciplines.

Deputy Manager - Cyber Security Analyst

Candidates must have:
  • BTech/BE in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics or Electronics & Communications Engineering with at least 50% marks, or an equivalent degree.
  • MCA.
  • MTech/MSc in the specified technology-related disciplines.

SBI SCO Manager Educational Qualification 2026

For both Manager posts under Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/12, SBI requires an MBA, PGDM, PGDBM or equivalent qualification with specialisation in HR, HRD or HRM from an institution recognised by Government bodies, AICTE or UGC.Preferred certifications include:

SBI SCO Deputy Chief Technology Officer Qualification 2026

Candidates applying for Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Enterprise Architecture must have:
  • An Engineering degree or MCA from a recognised university/institution.
  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Software Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Electronics or Electronics & Communication is preferred.
  • TOGAF certification is compulsory.
  • MBA is preferred.
Candidates must also have at least 18 years of overall post-basic-qualification experience in IT with a regulated financial services organisation or in technology/software organisations working on large-scale products or applications for the BFSI industry.At least 5 years of this experience must be at senior executive level, and at least 8 years must be in architectural functions and enterprise solution development.

SBI SCO Vice President Qualification 2026

For Vice President - Enterprise & Technology Architect, candidates must have:
  • Engineering graduation or MCA from a recognised university/institution.
  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Electronics or Electronics & Communication Engineering is preferred.
  • TOGAF certification is compulsory.
  • MBA is preferred.
Candidates must have at least 15 years of overall post-basic-qualification experience in IT. At least 3 years must be at senior executive level and at least 5 years must be in architectural functions. Experience in Enterprise Architecture in the BFSI sector is preferred.

SBI SCO Eligibility for Freshers 2026

Freshers are not eligible for the latest SBI SCO recruitment because the notified posts require relevant post-qualification work experience.The minimum experience requirement ranges from 4 years for the Deputy Manager technology posts to 18 years for the Deputy Chief Technology Officer post. Candidates applying for the Manager positions must have at least 6 years of relevant HR or training experience.Therefore, candidates who have only completed the required educational qualification but do not possess the prescribed professional experience should not apply for these SBI SCO posts.
