CA Final Exam January 2026 Dates Out: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued the notification for the CA Final January 2026 exam date for both groups. The exam for Group 1 will take place on January 5, 7, and 9, while for Group 2, the exam will be held on January 11, 13, and 16, 2026. ICAI has recently announced to conduct three CA Final examinations a year from next year. CA Final Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria are based on academic, training, and course completion conditions. These conditions must be met before a candidate can apply for the January 2026 exam session.
Passed both groups of the CA Intermediate examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 40% marks in each subject
Completed 3 years (old scheme) or 2 years (new scheme) of articleship training, or in the last six months of articleship and due to complete by 30 June 2026 for 3-year route and 30 June 2025 for 2-year route
Completion of Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) before the date of examination
Candidates are required to clear the required Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM) as per ICAI’s latest scheme in accordance with the date of passing Intermediate and other exemptions
Valid registration with ICAI for the CA Final at the time of application for the exam
There is no minimum or maximum age criteria for appearing in the CA Final exam.
The application for the CA Final Exam 2026 must be submitted online through the official ICAI portal. Following are the major steps in this regard.
Access the ICAI Self Service Portal (https: //eservices.icai.org), and sign in with your registration details.
Fill up the application form for the CA Final exam, providing accurate personal, educational, and training information, and upload necessary documents (Declaration/Certificate of Service, etc).
Choose your exam group(s), and preferred centre/city and language (Hindi/English) while filling the form.
The candidate can apply for the exam by making the online payment for the exam fee through card, net banking or UPI.
Download and print the filled application form PDF for the CA Final Exam 2026 (after making the payment) for future reference.
Candidates must keep several copies of the form and ensure that the form is filled out The correctly. Any incomplete or wrongly filled form may get rejected.
The CA Final Exam fees includes the registration fees and the exam form fees to be paid for taking CA final in January 2026. The registration fees is a one-time fee for enrolling for the CA Final course. The exam form fees are paid by the candidates at the time of appearing in one or both of the groups. The fees structure is different for Indian, overseas and Kathmandu centres. Late submission of the form is chargeable.

The Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final Examination 2026 pattern under the new scheme from January 2026 will have some changes. The examination will be conducted offline in six papers. The papers will be divided into two groups. All papers are of 100 marks. All papers have 3 hours of total time except Paper 6 which has 4 hours of total time. The new scheme of the CA Final exam 2026 will also be based on a mix of subjective and case-study questions with no negative marking. The new pattern also brings in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in all the papers based on application and analytical ability.
