Ajit Kumarโs journey to AIR 32 in CA Intermediate September 2026 involved more than preparing for six subjects. Originally from Siwan, Bihar, he managed family responsibilities before moving to Delhi to pursue his studies. At PW Superclass, he followed an offline learning routine, adapted his revision strategy to his needs and worked on the theory subjects he found challenging. His result of 452 marks reflects his preparation and the support he received along the way.
Ajit Kumarโs educational journey was shaped by his family circumstances. After his fatherโs health deteriorated in 2021, Ajit began helping at the family shop. This responsibility affected his routine, but he continued working towards his education.
His uncle played an important role in helping him continue his studies. He supported the family shop and helped cover Ajitโs educational expenses after the family had spent its savings on medical treatment.
Ajit explained:
โSir, main matlab zyada apne dhanyavaad main mama ko deta hoon kyunki mama hi matlab us samay jab mere papa ji ka tabiyat kharab hua to us samay jo bhi saving tha jo bhi unke lag gaya kyunki 45 day karke aise kuch hospital mein admit the to jo bhi saving tha sab lag gaya tha phir mama hi dukaan woh bhi kiye aur jo bhi kharcha hota hai padhne ka jo wahi uthate hain aise karke zyada toโ
With his uncleโs support, Ajit could focus more on his education and consider studying away from home. His journey highlights how family support helped him continue working towards his academic goals despite difficult circumstances.
Ajit moved from Siwan to Delhi to attend PW Superclass in Laxmi Nagar. Having studied mainly through offline methods, he felt that this mode of learning suited him better than online classes. His aunt lived in Delhi, making the move more practical for him.
For Ajit, the offline classroom was a learning environment that matched his preferences. He could attend classes regularly and build a routine around them, which became important as he progressed through the CA Intermediate syllabus.
Ajit found that attending offline classes helped him maintain a more consistent study routine. Even after a long class, he felt encouraged to spend additional time studying at home. He contrasted this with online learning, where he sometimes found it harder to maintain the same level of self-study.
Explaining the difference, he said:
โSir, offline mein ek ye hota hai na ki class hum log leke jaate hain, kitni bhi lambi class ho. Aur phir ghar pe jaake na padhe to lagta hi nahi padhe hain. To ek ye ho jaata hai ki do-teen ghante padh lete hain. Kam se kam bhi to ho jaata hai.โ
He added:
โOnline mein ye hota hai ki online class liye lagta hai ki self study hai. To phir revision ka aise nahi kar paate hain hum log.โ
The distinction mattered because attending lectures was only one part of his preparation. He also needed time to revise and practise independently. The offline schedule helped him separate classroom learning from self-study.
Ajit also used online classes for Audit after initially studying the subject offline. His experience shows that candidates can adapt their learning methods according to the subject and their needs rather than assuming that one format will work equally well for everything.
Ajit found practical subjects comparatively manageable because he was comfortable with mathematics. Theory subjects required more attention, partly because he had studied in Hindi medium until Class 12 before shifting to English-medium CA studies.
He explained:
โSir jaise matlab practical subject aisa rehta hai ki thoda math mera zyada sahi tha to practical subject mein mujhe dikkat aata nahi tha aur jo tha theory mein dikkat aata tha kyunki main Bihar board se tha 12th tak mera Hindi medium mein hi tha phir English medium mein seedha main shift hua to zyada dikkat aata thaโ
To address this difference, he made theory a daily part of his schedule instead of studying it only on selected days. He explained:
โPhir shaam ko bhi ek baar theory. To jaise mera tha ki jo bhi hum schedule banate hain usmein ki aaj do subject karenge kal do subject karenge. Mera theory ke liye aisa nahi chalta tha. Theory ke liye tha ki daily hi karna hai.โ
His routine included Audit in the morning, Strategic Management during the day and Law at night. This allowed him to revisit theory subjects regularly while distributing practical subjects across his schedule.
Ajitโs approach offers a useful lesson for CA aspirants: when a subject needs more attention, giving it a place in the daily routine can be more effective than leaving it for occasional revision.
Ajitโs revision window was limited. His classes finished around 6 June, while his B.Com examination continued until 14 June, leaving him approximately two and a half months for CA Intermediate revision.
Instead of changing his study plan midway, he chose to continue with the routine he had already established. He explained:
โTo rank ke liye jaana hai to planning ye honi chahiye ki agar beech mein kuch disturbance hota bhi hai phir bhi hamko date rehna hai ki matlab jo hum follow kar rahe use karenge.โ
He was concerned that changing his schedule could interrupt his momentum:
โMain bola ki jo bhi kar raha hoon main apna hi rakhoonga nahi to usmein jaaunga phir beech mein disturbance aayegi kyunki koi bhi ek continuity hoti hai to chalte rehta hai phir beech mein agar todo use to phir usmein ek do din idhar udhar ho jaata hai main nahi socha tha ki ek din bhi barbaadโ
Ajit also revisited previously studied theory before moving on to new material. He recalled the earlier topic first, then continued with the next revision task. This gave him a way to check what he could remember without relying entirely on repeated reading.
His approach highlights two useful revision principles: maintain a routine that is realistic for the time available, and return to earlier topics regularly so that revision does not become limited to the most recently studied material.
Ajit Kumar secured AIR 32 with 452 marks in CA Intermediate September 2026. His subject-wise scores were:

Costing was his highest-scoring subject, with 86 marks. His result followed a preparation approach built around offline classes, daily theory revision and continuity in his study schedule.
Ajit had also kept a specific rank in mind while preparing. He shared:
โSir main to shuru se hi manifest karta tha rank 31 rank 31 mere dimaag mein aise ghoomte rehta tha ki CA inter mein to rank 31 mera aayega aise hota hai na hamesha dimaag mein ghoomta rehta tha rank 32 mein dekha maine laga ek do aur idhar udhar hota to ho hi jaataโ
Although he had hoped for AIR 31, he secured AIR 32. His result marked an important achievement after navigating family responsibilities, moving to Delhi for his studies and adapting his preparation to the demands of CA Intermediate.
Ajit Kumarโs journey highlights the importance of consistency, a realistic study routine, and support during CA preparation. Moving from Bihar to Delhi to attend PW Superclass gave him access to the offline learning environment he preferred. His approach to daily theory revision and recalling previously studied topics also helped him maintain continuity in his preparation. His AIR 32 result in CA Intermediate September 2026 reflects how adapting to challenges and staying committed to a plan can shape a studentโs progress.
