For CA Foundation May 2026, registration remains active with the last date extended to 1st January 2026 without late fees, followed by exam form submission starting 3rd March 2026 till 16th March (without late fee) and 19th March (with late fee). Intermediate and Final registrations are open throughout the year, but candidates must register at least 4 months before the May/June exam window to be eligible. The process requires basic documents like Class 10/12 marksheets, photo, and signature, with fees starting at ₹9,000 for Foundation (Indian students). After signing up on the website, here's how you can apply for the CA Registration:

  1. Go to the official ICAI website.

  2. Choose your registration number from the dropdown menu.

  3. Verify your identity by entering your course, student registration number (SRN), and date of birth (DOB).

  4. After successful authentication, provide your email address and the mobile number you used during registration.

  5. Log in using your registration number and the password you've set.

  6. Fill in your residential address and other necessary details.

  7. Verify your email ID and mobile number.

  8. Complete the CA application form and upload the required documents.

CA Registration 2026 Instructions

Here are the instructions for filling out the CA Exam Application Form 2026 for CA Registration:

  1. Begin by creating a login ID on the official ICAI website. This involves a one-time registration process.

  2. Once you've registered, you'll receive a username and password via email. You'll also receive these login details via SMS to the phone number you provided during the registration.

  3. Log in to the ICAI CA application form using the username and password you received.

  4. It's crucial to provide accurate information and complete all the required fields. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

  5. You'll need to pay the application fee using a Visa, MasterCard, or Maestro Credit/Debit Card.

  6. After successfully paying the fees, download the fully filled application form and print it out.

  7. If the images (such as your photograph) don't appear on the printout, you can attach two recent passport-sized photos—one attested and one non-attested.

  8. If your signature doesn't show up on the printed form, you should sign in the designated places and have it countersigned by a parent or guardian.

  9. Your application form must be attested by a Chartered Accountant, Gazetted Officer, or the Principal of your School/College.

  10. If needed, you can modify or upload your photograph and signature on the SSP (Self-Service Portal) before submitting the exam form. The correction window opens a day after the form submission deadline to make these changes.

  11. If your articleship status (CA Final/Intermediate Direct Entry) is pending due to documentation, make sure to update your status on SSP before filling out the exam form.

  12. CA Intermediate students who don't see their registration mode on the dashboard can request assistance through the SSP to resolve this issue before the 2026 exam application process begins.

CA Registration 2026 Photo and Signature

To upload your photo for ICAI CA Registration, follow these guidelines:

  1. The photo must be in color or black/white and should show 80% of your face (without a face mask) along with your ears against a white background.

  2. Make sure there is a clear contrast in the image, so your features are easily distinguishable.

  3. Avoid wearing goggles in the photo, as such images will not be accepted.

  4. It's acceptable to wear spectacles in the photo.

  5. The background of the photograph should be white and clearly visible, without any distractions.

  6. If you use a flash when taking the picture, ensure there is no "red-eye" effect.

  7. Caps and masks should not be worn in the photo.

  8. You can wear religious headgear, but it should not cover your face.

  9. The photograph should be in jpg/jpeg format and have a file size between 20-50 KB.

  1. Sign on a white sheet using a black pen.

  2. Scan your signature, making sure the file size falls between 10-20 KB.

  3. Crop the scanned signature properly to remove any extra/white spaces, and save it in jpg/jpeg format.
