ICAI Launches SPMT Portal for May 2025 Session with Daily Exam Schedule

ICAI SPMT May 2025: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has introduced the Self-Paced Module Test (SPMT) portal for students appearing in the CA exams May 2025. Aspirants can register for the ICAI SPMT exam by visiting spmt.icai.org. 

It is important to note that passing the SPMT exam is mandatory for CA Final students to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. The exam will be held at 269 centres across India and seven international locations.

To be eligible for the SPMT exam, candidates must complete the required learning hours of the Self-Paced Online Modules. The ICAI SPMT May 2025 exam will be conducted daily, except on government holidays. Students can access the ICAI SPMT answer keys for all four sets (Set A, Set B, Set C, and Set D) on the ICAI LMS portal (lms.icai.org). Additionally, ICAI has released the list of exam centres where the test will take place.

ICAI SPMT May 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the ICAI Self-Paced Module Test (SPMT) May 2025, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Cleared CA Intermediate: Candidates must have passed both groups of the CA Intermediate exam.
• Registered for CA Final: Candidates must be registered for the CA Final exam.
• Completed E-Learning Hours: Candidates must complete the required e-learning hours through the ICAI SPOM portal before appearing for the SPMT exam.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the SPMT exam portal by visiting spmt.icai.org on your computer or mobile browser.

Step 2: Log In to Your Account

Enter your SSP login details (username and password) in the provided fields. If you don’t remember your password, you can log in using the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number.

Step 3: Start the Registration Process

After logging in, look for the "Register for SPMT" option on the dashboard. Click on it to begin your registration.

Step 4: Fill in the Required Details

Enter all the necessary information carefully, such as your personal details, educational qualifications, and contact information. Double-check the details to avoid any mistakes.

Step 5: Choose Your Exam Centre

Step 7: Download Confirmation Slip

Once the payment is done, you will receive a confirmation slip on the screen. Download and save it for future reference, as it serves as proof of your registration.
