General Binomial Theorem
If n ∈ R, -1 < x < 1 , then
(1 + x)n = 1 + nx + +…..∞
Note
(a) If n ∈ R n > 0 then –1 ≤ x < 1
(b) nCr can not be used because it is defined only for natural numbers
(c) If x be so small then its square and higher powers may be neglected then approximate value of (1 + x)n = 1 + nx
