Binomial Theorem for a +ve integral index n

If n is a positive integer and x, y are real or imaginary numbers, then

(x + y)ⁿ = ⁿC_oxⁿy^o + ⁿC₁x^n-1y¹ + ⁿC²x^n-2y² + …….+ ⁿCⁿyⁿ

where ⁿC_o, nC¹, …..ⁿCn are called binomial coefficients
