Collinearity of three given points
Three given points A, B, C will be collinear if they lie on the same straight line. Mathematically, the collinearity of three points can be ascertained by any of the following method:
(a) The area of the triangle ABC is zero.
or (b) Slope of AB = Slope of BC = Slope of AC
or (c) Find the equation of the straight line through any two points. If the third point satisfies the equation, then the three points are collinear.
