CLAT PG 2027 Registration: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially confirmed the schedule for the postgraduate Common Law Admission Test through its official press release issued at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Law graduates aiming for Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees across participating NLUs can begin their CLAT PG 2027 Registration on August 3, 2026. The application portal will remain active until October 31, 2026, leading up to the offline pen-and-paper examination on Sunday, December 6, 2026.

CLAT 2027 Notififcation is released on 22 July, 2026. The online application portal for CLAT 2027 will be operational from 3rd August, 2026 and will remain open until 31st October, 2026, which is the last date for submission of applications.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT PG 2027

Before starting your CLAT 2027 LLM application form, ensure you fulfill the basic CLAT PG eligibility criteria set by the Consortium:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a 3-year LL.B. or a 5-year integrated LL.B. degree (or an equivalent law degree) from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

  • Minimum Percentage:

    • General / OBC / PwD / NRI / OCI / EWS: Minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.

    • SC / ST Category: Minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.

  • Appearing Candidates: Students in the final year or final semester of their LL.B. degree are fully eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of passing at the time of final NLU counseling.

  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in the Common Law Admission Test for LLM.

Step 1: User Registration

Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in, click on 'CLAT 2027', and click 'Register'. Enter your full name, active mobile number, and email address. Verify the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your phone to activate your login credentials.

Step 2: Select Course & Enter Details

Log in using your registered credentials. Select Postgraduate (PG) / LL.M.. Carefully fill in your personal information, reservation category, permanent address, and LL.B. graduation details.

Step 3: Choose Test Cities

Select three preferred exam cities from the dropdown list in order of priority.

Step 4: Upload Scanned Files

Upload your passport photo, signature, and category/domicile certificates adhering to the file size limits. Ensure images are clear and readable.

Step 5: Pay Fee & Print Confirmation

Pay the application fee via your preferred digital payment method. Once payment status shows successful, save and download the application summary and payment receipt for your records.
