CSIR NET Certificate 2024: The CSIR NET 2024 examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from July 25 to July 27, 2024. The exam was held in five subjects across 348 examination centers in 187 cities nationwide. The CSIR NET Scorecard July 2024 has been released on the NTA website, and candidates can view, download, and print their CSIR NET 2024 Score Card by logging in with their application number and date of birth.

Steps To Download CSIR NET E-certificate July 2024

S tep 3: Enter Required Details:

• Application Number : Input your application number (ensure it is not blank).
• Date of Birth : Select your date of birth from the dropdown menus (Day, Month, Year).
• Security Pin : Enter the security pin as provided. Remember that it is case-sensitive.

CSIR NET E-certificate Validity

• Validity of Qualifying Certificate : The qualifying certificate for Assistant Professor is valid forever .
• Joint CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship : The fellowship is awarded for a fixed tenure and does not guarantee subsequent employment by CSIR-UGC NET.
• Eligibility Categories : The exam has three categories:
  • • Category-1: Award of JRF and appointment as Assistant Professor
    • Category-2: Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.
    • Category-3: Admission to Ph.D. only
• Eligibility for Appointment and Admission : Candidates who qualify in each category are eligible for the corresponding appointments and admissions:
  • • Category-1: Award of JRF, appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D.
    • Category-2: Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.
    • Category-3: Admission to Ph.D. only
• JRF-qualified Candidates : Candidates who qualify for JRF will be admitted into the Ph.D. program based on an interview as per the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2022.
• Use of NET Score for Ph.D. Admission : Candidates who qualify in Category-2 and Category-3 can use their NET score as an entrance test for Ph.D. admission in place of university-specific entrance tests.
• Weightage for Interview/Viva Voce : For Category-2 and Category-3 candidates, the marks obtained in NET will have 70% weightage , and 30% weightage will be based on the performance in the interview/viva voce conducted by the University/HEI concerned.
• Validity of NET Marks : The marks obtained in NET by Category-2 and Category-3 candidates will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result.

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Successful candidates can avail themselves of the JRF, which provides financial assistance for pursuing doctoral research under the guidance of experienced faculty members or scientists.
• Assistant Professor: The NET qualification also makes candidates eligible for appointment as assistant professors in universities, IITs, and other educational institutions.
• Ph.D. Admission: The NET score can be used as an entrance examination for admission to Ph.D. programs in various institutions.
• The CSIR and UGC provide research fellowships for individuals who wish to pursue research under the guidance of experienced faculty members and scientists in various fields of science and interdisciplinary research. These fellowships are tenable in various institutions, including:
