HP SET Mathematical Science Exam Eligibility
To be eligible for the HP SET Mathematical Science exam 2024, you need a Master's degree in Mathematical Science or a related field from a recognized university. Here's a breakdown of the eligibility criteria:- Master's Degree: You must have a Master's degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or Computer Science & Applications from a UGC-recognized university.
- Minimum Marks: For general category candidates, you need at least 55% marks in your Master's degree. For candidates from SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PWD categories in Himachal Pradesh, 50% marks are required.
- Ongoing Master's Degree: If you're currently pursuing your Master's or waiting for results, you can still apply. But you'll be considered provisionally. You need to pass your Master's exams within two years from the date of the SET result to confirm eligibility for Assistant Professor positions.
- Completion Deadline: Provisionally admitted candidates must finish their Master's within two years from the SET result announcement. Otherwise, they'll be disqualified.
