JAU Faculty Eligibility 2025

JAU Faculty Recruitment 2025 post is based on UGC and ICAR norms with regard to eligibility. The basic requirements are:

• Professor: PhD in the field of study, not least 10 years of teaching/research experience, and publication in reputed journals. 

• Associate Professor: PhD in the area, 8 years of experience and significant research publications. 

• Assistant Professor: Master's degree in the pertinent subject, where a marks are at least 55 per cent marks and NET/ equivalent as applicable. 

•   The age of the applicants is not to exceed 55 years. Age relaxations are provided to reserved classes according tothe  Gujarat state norms, and so it is inclusive of a larger group of aspirants.

• Register on ojas.jau.in using a valid email address and mobile number.

• Complete the form online while providing the requested information. Candidates are required to complete the application online ensuring all academic, professional and personal details are complete and accurate.

• Upload your scanned documents, photo, and signature.

• Pay your application fee online. The application fee is Rs 1000 for General category candidates and Rs 250 for students who are SC/ST/SEBC/EWS or PWD from the State of Gujarat.

• Print and post your completed application with relevant attached documentation to the university office by the appointed closing deadline of application submission. The printed application must be received by the Registrar, JAU, before the 30th of October 2025.
