Candidates preparing for the examination must create their approach based on the National Testing Agency's NTET syllabus. This will allow for a greater understanding of all subjects. The CBT Exam syllabus includes the following subjects: teaching and training, communication, classroom management, assessment methods, educational technologies, educational psychology, andragogy in education, and learning and pedagogy.
Candidates are encouraged to properly review the exam pattern to ensure they are prepared for the test. There are three different types of multiple-choice questions in the NTET 2025 Exam Pattern: easy, medium, and hard. There are 20 difficult questions, forty medium questions, and 40 easy questions. Every right answer gets one mark; there are no deductions. Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% to qualify. The test has a 120-minute duration and is offered in both Hindi and English.

NTET Admit Card is an important document for participants taking the examination. It provides formal authorisation to enter the examination venue and certifies the candidate's identification. The admission card normally includes important information such as the date of the exam, time, and location. The admit card will be available exclusively online.
When applying, applicants must choose 3 cities of their selection. Efforts will be taken to allocate the city of examination to the applicants in the order of choice indicated in their online application forms. However, for administrative/logistical reasons, a different city may be allocated.
NTET Answer Key 2025 will be available after the NTET Exam which will be held on 17 July 2025. A non-refundable charge of Rs. 200 per question allowed candidates to challenge the provisional answer key. Only paid challenges submitted within the allotted deadline will be considered. After all challenges will be reviewed, the final answer key will be made accessible to everyone, and results will be determined using this Answer key. After the results are announced, no complaints about the answer key will be accepted.
Candidates who score at least 50% in the National Teachers' Eligibility Test (NTET) for the Indian System of Medicine (ISM) or Homoeopathy will be certified qualified. This means that a candidate who achieves 50% or more on the test will be considered qualified to teach in ISM or Homoeopathy.
