NTET 2025: The National Teachers Eligibility Test Exam Notification has been published for postgraduates who want to pursue teaching careers in the medical industry. According to the announcement, the NTET examination will take place on July 17, 2025. The National Teachers Eligibility Test 2025 will be held for each discipline of Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani in the Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy. Applicants having a postgraduate degree in the Indian System of Medicine and related experience are qualified for this examination.

NTET Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the NTET Eligibility requirements in order to apply for the Teacher post in the future. Candidates who do not meet any of the NTET Eligibility 2025 criteria will be rejected with immediate effect.  The National Teachers qualifying exam (NTET) in the Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy includes a few qualifying requirements for students who want to take the exam.

  • Postgraduate degree holders in Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy are qualified to sit for the NTET examination.

  • This includes degrees such as BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS, as well as the MD/MS degrees.

  • MSc or Master of Public Health degrees in relevant fields are also acceptable. 

NTET 2025 Application Form

NTET Application form is open from June 4, 2025, to June 23, 2025. No offline applications will be accepted. To prevent last-minute mistakes, make sure you fulfill the eligibility requirements and have every necessary document scanned and available (picture, signature, ID proof, academic diplomas, etc.) before beginning the registration process. Ensure proper information is provided, since errors might result in disqualification or delays. Keep a copy of your submitted form and payment receipt for future reference.

Visit the official NTA website and register with your valid email address and mobile number. After successfully registering, you will get a system-generated Application Number. NTET 2025 Syllabus

Candidates preparing for the examination must create their approach based on the National Testing Agency's NTET syllabus. This will allow for a greater understanding of all subjects. The CBT Exam syllabus includes the following subjects: teaching and training, communication, classroom management, assessment methods, educational technologies, educational psychology, andragogy in education, and learning and pedagogy.

NTET 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates are encouraged to properly review the exam pattern to ensure they are prepared for the test. There are three different types of multiple-choice questions in the NTET 2025 Exam Pattern: easy, medium, and hard. There are 20 difficult questions, forty medium questions, and 40 easy questions. Every right answer gets one mark; there are no deductions. Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% to qualify. The test has a 120-minute duration and is offered in both Hindi and English.

NTET 2025 Admit Card

NTET Admit Card is an important document for participants taking the examination. It provides formal authorisation to enter the examination venue and certifies the candidate's identification. The admission card normally includes important information such as the date of the exam, time, and location. The admit card will be available exclusively online.

NTET 2025 Exam Centers

When applying, applicants must choose 3 cities of their selection. Efforts will be taken to allocate the city of examination to the applicants in the order of choice indicated in their online application forms. However, for administrative/logistical reasons, a different city may be allocated.

NTET 2025 Answer Key

NTET Answer Key 2025 will be available after the NTET Exam which will be held on 17 July 2025. A non-refundable charge of Rs. 200 per question allowed candidates to challenge the provisional answer key. Only paid challenges submitted within the allotted deadline will be considered. After all challenges will be reviewed, the final answer key will be made accessible to everyone, and results will be determined using this Answer key. After the results are announced, no complaints about the answer key will be accepted.

NTET Qualifying Marks

Candidates who score at least 50% in the National Teachers' Eligibility Test (NTET) for the Indian System of Medicine (ISM) or Homoeopathy will be certified qualified. This means that a candidate who achieves 50% or more on the test will be considered qualified to teach in ISM or Homoeopathy.

What are the eligibility criteria for the NTET Exam?
