What is CUET PG?

The NTA is introducing an all-India level entrance exam for admission into PG programs in Central and participating Universities. The exam will be conducted online in 90 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes. Previously, the exam was known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Prior to 2021, UGC used to conduct the test in a paper-pencil-based mode, but it has since switched to a computer-based mode.

CUET PG Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for CUET PG, candidates must meet the following CUET PG Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized educational institution.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must have obtained the minimum percentage of marks required by the concerned institute.
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must fulfill specific eligibility requirements set by the participating colleges.

CUET PG Exam Pattern 

CUET PG Exam Pattern, released by NTA, will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). CUET PG exam will be available in both English and Hindi, and the duration will be 90 minutes. It will consist of 75 domain-specific questions, depending on the program selected. CUET PG marking scheme allocates +4 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark for each incorrect answer, and no marks for unattempted questions.

CUET PG Admit Card

The CUET PG Admit Card is a mandatory document for candidates appearing in the exam. It contains important information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, and exam center details. Candidates must download the admit card from the official website by logging in with their application number and password or date of birth. A printed copy of the CUET PG Admit Card along with a valid photo ID proof must be carried to the exam center. Entry to the examination hall will not be allowed without the admit card.

CUET PG Counselling

The participating universities of CUET PG are conducting their counselling process separately. The counselling process for CUET PG will be carried out separately for different participating universities under the CUET PG Examination.
