Assam JMEE Marking Scheme

The Assam JMEE marking scheme includes marks for correct answers and negative marking for incorrect answers.

Candidates receive 4 marks for every correct answer. One mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. Unanswered questions carry no marks. The maximum possible score is 400 marks.

There is negative marking in Assam JMEE. An incorrect answer results in a deduction of 1 mark. No marks are added or deducted for an unanswered question.

Assam JMEE Mode of Examination and OMR Instructions

The Assam JMEE mode of examination is offline and uses a pre-printed OMR answer sheet. The sheet contains the candidate's Roll No., Name, and photograph. Candidates must follow these instructions while marking answers:

• Only one option, A, B, C, or D, should be darkened for each question.

• A black ink ball-point pen must be used.

• An answer marked on the OMR sheet cannot be changed or erased.

• Multiple markings or incorrectly darkened bubbles are treated as invalid answers.

• Rough work must be done only in the space provided in the question booklet, not on the OMR sheet.

The OMR sheets are evaluated entirely by computer. There is no manual evaluation or provision for re-checking or re-evaluation.
