CUET PG 2026 City Choice

CUET PG 2026 City Choice: The CUET PG 2026 Application Process has started for the candidates, and the last date is January 14, 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made announcements online regarding the CUET PG 2026 City Choice. This year, candidates can only pick cities that are in the state where they live. Candidates must look at their "Present Address" and "Permanent Address" in the form. The system will only show cities from those states. NTA has made this rule for the convenience of the candidates.

How To Select the CUET PG 2026 Exam Centre?

Candidates can follow the steps provided to choose the CUET PG 2026 exam centre.

Step 1: Visit the Website: Go to the official NTA website for CUET PG 2026.

Step 2: Fill the Form: Start your registration and enter your personal details to complete the registration process.

Step 3: Enter Addresses: Type the Present Address and Permanent Address.

Step 4: Pick Cities: Go to the "City Choice" section. Candidates can select two cities in order of preference. Pick the city closest to you as your first choice.

Step 5: Save and Pay: Once you pick the cities, save your choice and pay the exam fee.

Important Instructions For CUET PG 2026 City Choice

Choosing your exam centre for CUET PG 2026 is different this year. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced new rules to make sure every candidate focuses on the test rather than planning a vacation.

New City Selection Rules

The biggest change is that your CUET PG 2026 City Choice is now linked to the candidate’s address. Candidates can fill in their present and permanent addresses. They can only pick a city located in the states of these two addresses. For example, if any candidate lives in Delhi but their home is in Bihar, they can only choose cities in those two states. Candidates cannot pick a "holiday city" like Goa anymore.

Limited Choices

Every candidate now gets only two city preferences. In the past, you could pick three or four. Because choices are limited, you must pick the city closest to you as your first option.

Important Notes

  • No "First Come" Rule: There is no official rule saying early birds get better centres, but you should still apply early to avoid website crashes.

  • NTA Powers: The NTA can merge cities or change its centre if there are too few students in one area.
