There are certain factors that can affect the CUET PG English Cut off 2025. Large number of applicants, their category, etc has wide impact over the cut-off marks. Let’s discuss all of them:
Number of graduates applying for the exam: The more the number of candidates, the higher the cut off is. On the other hand, if number of applicants is less, the cut-off marks can reduce too.
Category of applicants: The caste and category of applicants can add variations in the cut off. The Indian caste-based reservation policies create a wide impact on the cut-off marks of students with different categories.
Difficulty level of the exam: If the exam is difficult, the cut off marks can be lower. If the exam seems easy to all the students, the cut-off marks can go higher.
Past year trends: The previous year cut off marks can affect the cut-off scores.
Performance of the candidates: If the candidates perform well in exams, then it becomes necessary to raise the bar.
