CUET PG Exam Schedule 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the comprehensive subject-wise schedule for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduates CUET PG 2026. This national-level entrance exam serves as the mandatory gateway for students seeking admission into various Master’s degree and professional programs across Central, State, and participating private universities for the 2026-27 academic session. With over 4.11 lakh unique candidates registered this year, the competition is significant. The exam is designed to test domain-specific knowledge across 157 diverse subjects, ensuring a standardized and fair assessment process through a multi-shift Computer Based Test (CBT) format conducted at centers nationwide and abroad.

The NTA released the official Public Notice on February 14, 2026, detailing the full examination calendar. This notification PDF includes the specific dates for each subject, ranging from March 6 to March 27, 2026. Candidates are advised to download the document from the official portal (exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG) to verify their paper codes and assigned sessions. It is the primary document for tracking shifts, reporting times, and technical instructions for the exam days.

CUET PG Exam Day 2026 Guidelines

Adhering to NTA guidelines is mandatory for entry and a smooth testing experience. Candidates must report to the center well in advance for mandatory frisking and biometric registration.

  • Arrival: Candidates should reach the center 1–2 hours before the exam; gates close strictly 30 minutes prior to commencement.

  • Mandatory Items: Carry a printed A4 Admit Card (with photo and self-declaration), an original valid Government Photo ID, and a spare passport-sized photo for the attendance sheet.

  • Dress Code: Wear light, half-sleeved clothing without large buttons; only open-toed footwear like slippers or sandals is permitted (no shoes).

  • Banned Items: Mobile phones, watches, jewelry, calculators, and bags are strictly prohibited inside the hall.

  • Conduct: Use only the provided rough sheets for calculations; these must be handed back to the invigilator before leaving.

When will CUET (PG) 2026 be conducted?

CUET (PG) 2026 will be held on 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 27 March 2026. The exam will be conducted in 44 shifts, with 2–3 shifts per day, each lasting 90 minutes.

In which mode will CUET PG 2026 be conducted?

The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple examination centres.

How many subjects are included in CUET PG 2026?

CUET (PG) 2026 will be conducted for 157 subjects. Candidates were allowed to select up to four test papers/subjects during registration.
