MHT CET MCA 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Educational Qualification

A minimum three-year Bachelor's degree from a recognised university meeting the eligibility requirements prescribed by the State CET Cell.

  1. Mathematics/Statistics Requirement

Candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at the Higher Secondary (10+2) level or during graduation, as prescribed in the official eligibility criteria. This eligibility criterion is similar to NIMCET and offers flexibility by allowing the subject at the 10+2 level.

  1. Minimum Marks

  • General Category: 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree.

  • Backward Class/EWS/PwD Candidates (Maharashtra State Domicile): 45% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree.

  1. Final-Year Students

Candidates appearing in the final year or last semester of their Bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply.

  1. Domicile

The examination is open to both:

  • Maharashtra State candidates

  • Other Than Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates

MHT CET MCA 2027 Admission Process

Admissions are conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) managed by the Maharashtra State CET Cell.

The admission process includes the following stages:

  1. Appear for the MHT CET MCA examination.

  2. Scorecard and percentile are released.

  3. Register online for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

  4. Complete document verification.

  5. The merit list is published.

  6. Fill out the option form by selecting preferred colleges.

  7. Seat allotment results are declared.

After seat allotment, candidates have two choices. Candidates may either accept the allotted seat or opt for betterment/upgrade in subsequent CAP rounds, subject to the applicable rules.

Note: Missing any step during CAP may result in the cancellation of candidature.
