NIMCET Counselling 2025, Registration, Seat Allotment Process, Documents Required

NIMCET 2025 Counselling Registration will be available for those candidates who have cleared the cut off and have their names in the merit list produced by the examination conducting authority. From 30th June 2025, candidates will be able to register for NIMCET counselling 2025 process by paying the counselling fee of Rs 1000. 

NIMCET Counselling 2025 is an important step towards taking admission in one of the 11 NITs and 2 IIITs participating in NIMCET 2025. Candidates will be given the choice to select an institution according to their preferences and ranking. The final decision for NIMCET seat allotment 2025 will be made on the basis of the candidate’s merit. There will be 3 rounds in the counselling process. And, a special round for student counselling will also be there with a fresh choice filling process. 

NIMCET Counselling 2025 Overview 

NIMCET counselling registration 2025 will begin from 30 June 2025 to 4 July 2025. Candidates who have secured their names in the merit list will be invited for NIMCET counselling 2025. The first round of NIMCET seat allotment 2025 will happen on 7 July 2025. The second round will start on 12 July 2025, and the third round will be on 17 July 2025.

Candidates must note that there will be a special round with a fresh choice filling facility will be there if seats remain vacant. The special round for choice filling and registration will start on 23 July 2025 till 25 July 2025.

NIMCET Counselling 2025 Process

NIMCET Counselling 2025 will be carried out in 3 phases after the candidates fill out the registration forms between 30 June to 4 July 2025. For NIMCET 2025 counselling registration, candidates need to pay Rs 1000 as a counselling fee. 

The NIMCET Counselling 2025 process includes the following steps:

Step 1: Register for NIMCET Counselling 2025 on the official website by paying Rs 1000. Candidates need to visit nimcet.admissions.nic.in for NIMCET 2025 counselling registration.

Step 2: Candidates will get several options to choose among from the list of NITs and IIITs participating in NIMCET 2025. 

Step 3: After the candidate’s choice is locked, candidates will be called for counselling and seat allotment process from 7 July 2025. 

The NIMCET Counselling 2025 will be conducted in 3 rounds:

• NIMCET Counselling 2025: Round 1 seat allotment will happen on 7 July 2025.

• NIMCET Counselling 2025: Round 2 seat allotment will be held on 12 July 2025. 

• NIMCET Counselling 2025: Round 3 seat allotment will be carried out on 17 July 2025.

Special Round: Another special round for NIMCET Counselling 2025 will take place from 26 July 2025, if some vacant seats are there. For this, candidates will need to freshly fill the choices and registration form.

NIMCET Counselling 2025: Required Documents To Carry

To appear in NIMCET Counselling 2025,  a mandatory set of original and photocopies of self-attested documents is required. The list of essential documents to appear in this procedure for seat allotment and admission is as follows:

• NIMCET 2025 admit card containing application number, and other personal details

• NIMCET 2025 scorecard

• Date of Birth Proof (Class 10th mark sheet)

• Class 10th & 12th marksheet and passing out certificates

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Category certificate(if applicable)

• 4 recent passport-size photographs

NIMCET Counselling 2025 Important Points 

During NIMCET Counselling 2025 process, candidates must take care of the following important points:

• Candidates must carefully fill in their choice while filling NIMCET 2025 counselling registration form.

• Candidates must be present at the right time and right day at the venue for NIMCET 2025 Counselling process.

• All the important documents must be duly attested by the candidate. Both the original and photocopies are required to be present during counselling.

• There are three rounds for NIMCET counselling 2025. If some seats remain vacant after these rounds, a special round is also conducted to fill those vacant seats.
