As per the official information brochure, the application window will close on 15 June 2025. University of Lucknow PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

University of Lucknow PG Admissions 2025 is a gateway to various postgraduate and professional postgraduate courses. There are numerous courses offered in the LU with different University of Lucknow PG Admission Eligibility criteria. 

Candidates must go through the official website of University of Lucknow(LU) to learn about the detailed eligibility criteria for reserved/unreserved categories.

University of Lucknow PG Registration 

Candidates must learn that they need to generate Lucknow University Registration Number(LURN) while applying for any of the courses in the Lucknow University and the colleges affiliated to it. 

Before filling out the Lucknow University PG Admission Form, candidates should create the LURN.  The LURN is generated using the SAMARTH Portal.

University of Lucknow PG Admission 2025 requires each candidate to create a LURN to register themselves for the entrance test. 

1. To create a LURN, candidates need to visit the lkouniv.ac.in. 

2. Then, find the link indicating LURN generation. 

3. Here, click on the “New Registration” tab.

4. Create a Login ID with a valid email address. An OTP will be sent to your email. 

5. Complete the LURN registration process by confirming your mail with the provided OTP. Now, login to your account and fill other details like mother’s name, father’s name, etc.

6. Complete your profile after paying INR 100 with a valid payment mode. 

7. Print your LURN and save it for later.

After generating the LURN, candidates can proceed to complete the registration process.

To fill out the Lucknow University PG Admission Form, candidates need the following things:

• LURN 

• Valid Email ID

• Aadhar Number 

• An active mobile number

• Scanned passport-size photographs

Lucknow University PG Admission Form Application Fee

According to the official exam conducting authority, the following fee is applicable for appearing in the entrance examination:

• For General and ОВС candidates, a sum of Rs. 1000.00 will be payable.

• For SC/ST/PH candidates, Rs. 500.00 are to be paid.

University of Lucknow PG Admission Process

The Lucknow University PG Admission 2025 includes the registration form filling process at first. The registration form filling starts from 24 April 2025 and ends on 15 June 2025. 

After that, an entrance exam will be held. On the basis of the result of the entrance examination. A merit list will be generated by the LU. Students appearing in this entrance test can check the university’s website for the latest updates about exam date, merit list, counselling process, etc.
