DU CSAS Portal UG 2026: The University of Delhi (UoD), a prestigious institution since 1922, is now open for undergraduate admissions for the academic session 2026-27. Physics Wallah aims to provide prospective students with all the necessary information for a smooth application process. Entry into these programs will primarily be determined by scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG)-2026), administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Following CUET, applicants must apply through the University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS (UG)-2026) to secure their seats. This comprehensive guide provides crucial information for aspiring students, focusing on the transparent and inclusive nature of the admission process.
DU CSAS Portal UG 2026 is Delhi University’s online counselling and seat-allotment portal for UG admission through CUET UG 2026. Registration is expected to begin in June 2026, and DU has already indicated that the 2026–27 admission process will be handled online through the official admission system.
What it is
CSAS stands for Common Seat Allocation System, and it is the portal where CUET-qualified students register, fill preferences, and take part in DU undergraduate admission. Admission to DU UG courses is based on CUET UG scores, not on direct college applications.
The portal is used for registration, preference filling, seat allocation, and admission confirmation.
Students need a valid CUET UG 2026 scorecard to register.
The process is expected to start in June 2026.
Official admission updates are being hosted on the DU admission website, admission.uod.ac.in.

This section outlines the essential points for undergraduate admissions at the University of Delhi for the academic year 2026-27. It covers critical requirements and procedures for all applicants.
Admission to all Undergraduate Programmes (except SOL, NCWEB, and Foreign Nationals) requires CUET (UG) - 2026 scores.
Candidates must carefully read the official Bulletin of Information (BOI) 2026-27 and regularly check www.admission.uod.ac.in for notifications and Key Updates for DU CSAS UG 2026.
Programme details and seat matrix will be released separately on the University website. For DU CSAS Portal 2026 Important Dates, candidates must regularly check www.admission.uod.ac.in.
A Class XII examination or its equivalent from a single recognized board is mandatory.
Appearing in CUET (UG) - 2026 is compulsory for subjects matching Class XII subjects.
If a Class XII subject is not in CUET (UG) - 2026, a similar/related Language/Domain Specific subject must be chosen (at least 50% syllabus match).
Allocation and admission will strictly be based on CUET (UG) - 2026 scores from combinations of Languages, Domain Specific Subjects, or General Aptitude Test, as per Programme-Specific Eligibility.
Only CUET (UG) - 2026 scores will be considered for the 2026-27 academic year.
Applying to the University of Delhi's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS(UG)-2026) is also mandatory. Details for this will be announced separately.
Grievances regarding non-appearance in CUET (UG) - 2026 or required subjects will not be accepted.
There is no minimum age requirement for undergraduate programs unless specified by regulatory bodies.
Gap years are not a barrier to admission, provided candidates appear in CUET (UG) - 2026.
Proration of CUET (UG) - 2026 scores will occur when necessary.
Certain fields from the CUET form (name, signature, photograph) will be automatically integrated by DU and cannot be edited.
The candidate's name on reservation certificates must match school board certificates and CUET (UG)-2026. Parents' names must also match.
All required certificates/documents must be in the candidate's name during registration and admission.
Once the preferences are locked, the University of Delhi will allocate seats to candidates based on their CUET scores and preferences. The allocation process will take place in multiple rounds:
Round 1: Initial Seat Allocation : DU CSAS 2026 will be release after the registration process complete . Candidates can now view their allotted seats and must accept the offer within the given deadline. Upon acceptance, the document verification process will begin at the respective colleges.
Round 2: Upgradation of Seats : Candidates can opt to upgrade their seat to a higher preference if they are not satisfied with their initial allocation. This process will allow candidates to secure a better combination of course and college if available.
Final Seat Acceptance : Once candidates accept the allotted seat, they must undergo document verification at the assigned college. This includes checking the eligibility criteria, verifying the CUET score, and ensuring document authenticity
