DU UG Eligibility Criteria 2025

1. Academic Qualifications : Candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary (12th grade) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. The final result of the qualifying examination must be available before the commencement of the CUET.
2. CUET Score : Admission to UG programs is primarily based on the CUET score . Candidates must appear for CUET, which assesses knowledge in subjects relevant to the course they wish to pursue. The test includes multiple-choice questions in subjects such as languages, domain-specific subjects, and general knowledge.
3. Subject Requirements : For certain programs, DU may specify specific subject requirements at the 12th grade level. For instance, a candidate applying for a B.A. (Honours) in Economics may need to have studied Mathematics in Class 12. It’s essential to check the specific requirements for each program on the official DU website.
4. Age Limit : DU does not impose any upper age limit for candidates applying through CUET, but candidates must meet the age requirements set by their respective boards at the time of the exam.
5. Category-specific Reservations : DU follows reservation policies as per government norms. Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC, EWS) may have relaxation in CUET score and eligibility criteria.

Steps to Fill DU UG Application Form 2025

• Go to the official University of Delhi website.
• Look for the "Admissions" section for the latest updates and links to the application portal for UG courses.

• On the application portal, click on the "New Registration" button.
• Provide your personal details such as name, date of birth, email, mobile number, etc.
• Set a password for your account.
• After completing registration, an email and/or SMS will be sent with login credentials.

• After successful registration, use your credentials to log in to the application portal.

• Enter your name, address, contact details, date of birth, gender, etc.
• Fill in your academic qualifications, including Class 12 or equivalent examination details. You may need to select your subjects from school.
• Choose the UG programs and corresponding courses you are interested in, along with their preferences.
• Enter your CUET details including the test code and subjects.

• Upload scanned copies of the required documents: Passport-sized photograph, Signature, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets or certificates, Valid category certificate (if applicable), Any other document specified by the university.

• The application fee can be paid online using debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI. The fee amount will vary depending on the category and number of programs chosen.
• Keep a copy of the payment receipt for reference.

• Double-check all the information entered in the form to ensure its accuracy.
• Once satisfied, submit the application form.

• After submission, download and print the application confirmation page for future reference.

• You can log in to the portal to track your application status and receive further updates regarding admission or entrance tests.
