SKMU Admission 2024: NTA is going to conduct CUET UG 2024 exam from May 15 to 31, 2024 and CUET PG 2024 exam from March 11 to 28, 2024. The application form for CUET PG 2024 exam is expected to be released in the 1st week of January.

SKMU Admission Process 2024

1. Visit the official website of SKMU
2. Click on the "Admission" tab and select the course and program you want to apply for.
3. Read the eligibility criteria and Admission guidelines carefully.
4. Click on the "Apply Online" button and register yourself by creating a new account or logging in to your existing account.
5. Fill up the online application form with all the required details, including your personal information, academic qualifications, and contact information.
6. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents.
7. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
8. Submit the application form.

SKMU Admission 2024 for BSc

Eligibility Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (BSc)

• Educational qualification for SKMU Admission: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Subject requirements for SKMU Admission: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with the following subjects:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Statistics
• Age for SKMU Admission: Candidates must be at least 17 years of age on or before the 31st of December of the year of Admission.

• There is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
• Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks.

Selection Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (BSc)

• Admission to the SKMU B.Sc program is based on a combination of merit and entrance test scores.
• Candidates who have appeared in the Jharkhand Board of Secondary Education (JAC) 12th examination will be given direct Admission to the B.Sc program based on their merit.
• Candidates from other boards will have to appear in the SKMU Entrance Test (SKMUET) for Admission to the B.Sc program.

Eligibility Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (BBA)

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board or council with an aggregate of at least 33%.
• Candidates who have appeared for the 10+2 exams in 2023 are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their results as soon as they are declared.

• Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) categories are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate marks required.
• Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate marks required, subject to the production of a valid disability certificate.

Selection Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (BBA)

• CUET score: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CUET scores.
• Academic performance: Candidates' academic performance in the 10+2 examination will also be considered during the selection process.
• Other factors: Other factors such as candidates' participation in extracurricular activities and sports may also be considered during the selection process.

1. Candidates will have to register for the CUET and choose SKMU as one of their preferred universities.
2. Candidates will have to appear for the CUET and perform well to secure a good rank.
3. SKMU will release a merit list based on the CUET scores.
4. Candidates on the merit list will be invited for counseling and seat allotment.

SKMU Admission 2024 (BA)

Eligibility Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (BA)

• Educational Qualification for SKMU Admission 2024 : Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognized board or council with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit for SKMU Admission 2024: There is no upper age limit for Admission to the B.A. program at SKMU.

• International students must have passed an equivalent examination to Class 12 from a recognized board or university in their home country.
• Candidates who have appeared for Class 12 but are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates must be at least 17 years of age on the first day of the academic session.

• Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) will be given a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility criteria.
• Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from any foreign board or council must have obtained an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Selection Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (BA)

• Merit: Candidates will be ranked based on their marks in the 12th class examination.
• Reservation: Reserved category candidates will be given preference in Admission, as per the government of India guidelines.

SKMU Admission 2024 (MA)

Eligibility Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (MA)

• Educational Qualifications For SKMU Admission: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Entrance Test For SKMU Admission : Some M.A. programs at SKMU may require candidates to take an entrance test, such as the Combined Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET).

Eligibility Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (MSc)

• Educational Qualification for SKMU Admission: Candidates must have passed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for reserved categories).
• Entrance Examination for SKMU Admission: Admission to the M.Sc program at SKMU is based on the Joint Entrance Examination for Master of Science (JEM-MS) conducted by the university. However, candidates who have qualified in other national or state-level entrance examinations such as GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET/ NBHM/ DBT JRF/ INSPIRE/ ICMR JRF/ ICAR JRF/ KVPY/ UGC-JRF/ ICMR-SRF/ CSIR-SRF/ DBT-SRF are also eligible for Admission without appearing in the JEM-MS exam.

Selection Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (MSc)

1. Entrance Examination For SKMU Admission: Candidates will then have to appear for the SKMU M.Sc entrance examination. The entrance examination is usually conducted in the form of a written test and covers topics from the candidate's undergraduate curriculum.
2. Merit List For SKMU Admission: The university will then prepare a merit list of all eligible candidates based on their performance in the entrance examination and their undergraduate marks.
3. Counseling For SKMU Admission: The university will then conduct a counseling session for all selected candidates. During the counseling session, candidates will be allotted seats in their preferred programs based on their merit rank and the availability of seats.

Eligibility Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (MBA)

• Academic Qualification: A candidate must have passed a second class Bachelor's degree of minimum three years' duration in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Humanities, Engineering, Medical, and Agriculture) from a recognized university.
• Minimum Marks: The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying degree examination.
• Final Year Students: Students in the final year of their graduation may also apply subject to the condition that they should produce the evidence of the required qualification at the time of Admission if selected.

• MAT/ET Score: 80%
• Interview Score: 20%

• A = MAT/ET Score reduced to the scale of 80
• B = Score of interview with minimum 20 marks

• Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree with honors in any subject will be given an additional 5% weightage in their MAT/ET score.
• Candidates who have work experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity will be given an additional 5% weightage in their interview score.

Selection Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (MBA)

1. Entrance Test: Candidates must appear for an entrance test conducted by the university or the All India Management Association (AIMA). The entrance test will be a computer-based test and will consist of questions on quantitative ability, verbal ability, and data interpretation.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel of faculty members and will assess the candidate's communication skills, personality, and motivation for pursuing an MBA degree.

SKMU Admission 2024 (PhD)

Eligibility Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (PhD)

• Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) for General and OBC candidates, and 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
• Candidates with a Master's degree in Professional courses (e.g., MBA, MCA, M.Tech.) are also eligible to apply for PhD programs in relevant fields, provided they have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA).
• Candidates who have qualified for the National Entrance Test for Lectureship (NET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are eligible for relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate marks required for Admission to PhD programs.

• Candidates with at least two years of research experience in a relevant field, as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals/conferences, or by work experience in a research institution/industry, are preferred.

• Candidates must be Indian nationals.
• Candidates should be physically and mentally fit to pursue research.

Selection Criteria for SKMU Admission 2024 (PhD)

1. Entrance Test: The university conducts a PhD Entrance Test (PET) for all candidates seeking Admission to the PhD program. The PET is a multiple-choice test that covers the following topics:

• Research Methodology
• General Aptitude
• Subject Area (the candidate's chosen field of study)

2. Interview: Candidates who qualify the PET are shortlisted for an interview. The interview is conducted by a panel of experts in the candidate's chosen field of study. The panel assesses the candidate's research aptitude, motivation, and knowledge of the subject area.
