As we walked around the farm, we saw rows of vegetables and learned that Bhaskarbhai grows four types of crops each year. The crops were lush, and we could see sprinklers watering them. Bhaskarbhai explained that rice needs the most water. He shared stories of waking up before sunrise to take care of the farm and how every season brings a new set of tasks. Visiting the farm taught us how much hard work goes into growing the food we eat every day. Bhaskarbhai was kind and answered all our questions. We ended our trip by thanking him for his time and for the delicious fresh fruit he let us taste.
