Darbhanga Airport

• Located in Darbhanga, Bihar, India, Darbhanga Airport (IATA: DBR, ICAO: VE89) is a domestic airport.
• It is the first airport in the Bihar region of Mithila to be put into service. There is only one runway at the airport, measuring 2,500 meters (8,200 feet) long by 45 meters (148 feet) wide.
• It is capable of handling aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320.
• The airport was officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8, 2020.
• At the moment, IndiGo and SpiceJet operate flights to Patna, Delhi, and Kolkata.
