On December 22, Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu officially opened the enormous 3000 square foot material recovery facility at the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, making it the nation's first zero-waste airport. The new approach to waste management at Indore Airport would be multifaceted. All waste produced at the airport, from the aircraft to the ground facilities, will be recycled, repurposed, and minimised.
