Election Commission Successfully Conducts Voting at Raireshwar, Maharashtra's Highest Polling Booth in Baramati

• The Election Commission successfully conducted a logistical feat to ensure smooth proceedings for 160 voters at the picturesque Raireshwar Fort, nestled at a staggering altitude of 4,491 feet, the highest polling booth in the Baramati constituency during the third phase of Lok Sabha polls on May 7.
• Situated 30 kilometers from Bhor taluka in Pune rural, the polling party drove to the foothills of Raireshwar to reach the polling station.
• From there, a further 18 km journey via Rairi leads to the base of Raireshwar, where polling teams trek for an hour with the aid of an iron ladder to reach the polling station.

RBI lifts restrictions on Bank of Baroda's 'BoB World' mobile app, allows onboarding customers

• The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the lifting of restrictions on Bank of Baroda's BoB World mobile application, permitting the bank to onboard customers immediately.
• This decision follows the RBI's directive in October 2023 to suspend customer onboarding on the app due to supervisory concerns.
• "The Bank will now resume onboarding new customers in the BoB World application. The Bank remains committed to ensure adherence and compliance of regulatory guidelines," the filing said.
