• The tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, was born on December 22, 1666, in Patna.
• He was the son of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru.
• Takhat Sri Harmandir Ji Sahib, popularly known as the Patna Sahib, is a majestic gurudwara located at the site of his birth.
