The MHA IB Security Assistant (SA) and MTS Recruitment 2023 selection process encompasses several phases:

  1. Tier-I Written Exam (Objective): This phase involves an online exam with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Please note that It is Common for IB SA/MT & MTS/Gen posts. It consists of various parts, each containing certain questions described below worth 1 mark each. These sections cover General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability and reasoning, English Language, and General Awareness.   2. Tier-II Written Exam (Descriptive) for MTS/Gen post: In this phase, a descriptive offline exam is conducted. It is for the MTS/Gen post. Candidates can check the details of the Descriptive test for the posts of MTS/Gen below - The number of candidates shortlisted for Tier II is typically ten times the number of vacancies, based on performance and marks normalization in Tier-I. Tier-Il exam will be of a qualifying nature with qualifying marks of 20

  3. Tier-II Motor Mechanism & Driving Test Cum Interview(for SA/MT Posts only): The candidates would be required to drive a motor vehicle as instructed by the instructor.
  4. Tier-III - Document and Medical Examination: The interview phase assesses a candidate's personality, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role. It is typically conducted by a panel of experts from the Intelligence Bureau (IB). The final stage includes document verification and a medical examination, during which candidates must provide various documents to verify their eligibility for the position.
