Air Force Height and Weight for Officers

Flying Branch Height Requirements:

For male and female candidates in the Flying Branch, the minimum acceptable height is 162.5 cms. The leg length should be a minimum of 99 cms and a maximum of 120 cms. The thigh length must not exceed 64 cms, and the sitting height should be between 81.5 cms and 96 cms. There are no concessions for age, sex, or region.

Ground Duty (Technical/Nontechnical) Branch Height Requirements:

For male candidates in the Ground Duty (Technical/Nontechnical) Branch, the minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. Female candidates should have a minimum height of 152 cms. However, candidates from Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North-Eastern region of India, Garhwal, and Kumaon, are allowed a 5 cm reduction in the minimum height requirement. Similarly, candidates from Lakshadweep can have a 2 cm reduction compared to the standard height requirements for men and women.
