Army Agniveer Physical Fitness Test (For Females)
The Physical Fitness Test for female candidates consists of a series of components designed to assess their endurance, speed, and agility. One of the key elements is the 1.6 Km Run, a test of cardiovascular fitness and stamina.
Female candidates falling within Group I are required to complete the 1.6 Km Run in a time not exceeding 7 minutes and 30 seconds. In contrast, those in Group II must finish within 8 minutes. This distinction reflects the varying fitness standards for different groups.
Additionally, candidates are evaluated on their Long Jump, where they must achieve a distance of 10 feet to meet the qualification criteria. The High Jump requirement involves clearing a bar set at 3 feet, demonstrating their explosive power and flexibility.
It is mandatory for candidates to successfully clear both the Long Jump and High Jump to qualify for the Physical Fitness Test.
Moreover, recognizing the diverse geographical terrains where the test may be conducted, there is a provision for additional time in hilly areas. For altitudes ranging between 5000 Ft to 9000 Ft, an extra 30 seconds are added to all prescribed timings. Similarly, for altitudes between 9000 Ft to 12000 Ft, an additional 120 seconds are allotted to accommodate the challenges posed by elevated terrains.

Upon qualification, candidates are required to present themselves at the designated Military Hospital within 5 days of referral. The medical test, conducted by the Military Hospital under policy, is expected to be completed within 14 days. The Indian Army retains the authority to conduct the following tests to assess the fitness of candidates:

Urine RE/ME: Examination of urine for diagnostic purposes.
