Navigating the application procedure requires accuracy. Below is a complete step-by-step guide to signing up, filling out details, uploading certificates, and making payments before the official NID Registration Last Date 2027.

Step 1: Portal Signup & Account Creation

1. Go to the official admission link: https://admissions.nid.edu/NIDA2027/Default.aspx

2. Choose your program stream:

• B.Des / 5.5 Year Integrated Master of Design Pathway (Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru)

• Master of Design (M.Des.) (Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru)

• Master of Design (M.Des.) (NID Madhya Pradesh)

• Master of Design (M.Des.) (NID Haryana)

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Design

3. Click on Signup and Login. Provide an active email address, valid mobile number, date of birth, and nationality.

Step 2: Form Completion & Document Upload

1. Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, exam center preferences, and category details.

2. Upload scanned copies of compulsory original documents according to NID specifications:

• Passport Photo: Color photo, taken against a white background (JPG/JPEG format, 50 KB to 200 KB).

• Signature: Black ink signature on plain white paper (JPG/JPEG format, 50 KB to 200 KB).

• Caste / Category Certificate: GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST certificates (PDF format up to 1 MB). OBC-NCL and EWS certificates must be issued on or after April 01, 2026.

• Disability / PwD Certificate: Issued by the competent government authority (PDF format up to 1 MB).

• Governing Body: National Institute of Design (functioning under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade - DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India).
