The NID seat reservation 2027 rules classify seats for Indian Nationals into Open, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories.
The 2027-28 NID Admissions Handbook states that reservation is provided according to Government of India guidelines. Candidates applying under the Overseas category are outside the reservation provisions for GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories.

How Does PwD Reservation Work at NID?
PwD reservation is different from the category-wise reservation for OBC-NCL, SC, ST and EWS. It is provided horizontally across these categories, so eligible PwD candidates can receive reservation within their respective category.
