What After SEED 2026 Result?

After the SEED 2026 result is declared, shortlisted candidates will move on to the next phase of the admission process at the Symbiosis Institute of Design. This includes Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) rounds. Candidates need to upload their portfolios in a digital format through the SID’s official portal and further take part in the interviews. Performance across the SEED exam and the PRPI round determines placement on the final merit list for admission.

SEED Admission Process 2026

Candidates seeking admission to Symbiosis BDes courses need to understand the SEED admission process 2026 at every level. Given below are the important parameters in the SEED admission process 2026. 

• Level 1: Candidates need to appear for the SEED entrance exam 2026. It will be conducted in an online proctored medium. Candidates who clear this stage will move to the SEED PRPI rounds. SEED results will be declared on the official website. Based on their chosen specializations, candidates are shortlisted. 
• Level 2: Candidates are asked to upload their portfolios through the designated portal a day before their PRPI. This portfolio highlights their creative abilities and demonstrates their design skills.
• Level 3: After submitting their portfolios, candidates are provided with a PRPI Task three days before their scheduled online PRPI date. This task is designed to further assess their creativity and problem-solving abilities relevant to the field of design. Candidates need to complete the assigned task and upload their responses to the official portal one day before their PRPI. 
• Level 4: Finally, candidates have to attend the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction.

In the final stage, candidates take part in an online PRPI session, where they interact directly with SID faculty members. SEED Merit list is prepared based on the personal interaction, combined with their SEED exam results, portfolio review, and PRPI Task performance.

After the selection process is complete, candidates can check their SEED 2026 admission status by following the given steps. 

• Go to the SID’s official portal. 
• Log in with your Symbiosis BDes ID and password. 
• Click on the “Sign In” tab to proceed. 
• You can check out your SEED admission status. 

Qualified candidates will get admission to any one of the 4 main courses, namely,  Industrial Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, and Communication Design. The university has a total of 207 seats distributed across 8 specializations.

SID Seat Intake for Indian Students

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers a specific number of seats for Indian students across its undergraduate design programs each year. The seat intake is divided among various specializations. Admission to these seats is based on performance in the SEED exam and subsequent selection rounds.

SID Design Seat Reservation

Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) follows a seat reservation policy as per government norms for its B.Des program. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, and Differently Abled categories as per the sanctioned limits. Additionally, there are supernumerary seats set aside for Kashmiri migrants and International students.
