BDes Admission 2025

BDes admission 2026 through the UCEED entrance exam 2026 is ongoing. The UCEED exam is scheduled for Sunday, 18 January 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The official notification was released on 1 October 2025, with applications starting in October 2025. UCEED seat allotment will be conducted in multiple rounds, with provisional allotments based on candidates’ All India Rank, category, and institute preferences. Candidates must confirm their seats by paying the required acceptance fee as per the official guidelines.

NID BDes admission 2026 is also underway. The Prelims exam was held on 21 December 2025, with results declared on 7 April 2026. The Mains exam is scheduled for April 2026, and the counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted from May to June 2026. Candidates should visit www.nid.edu for detailed information on counselling, document verification, and seat confirmation.

BDes Entrance Exam 2026 is the gateway for students aspiring to pursue a Bachelor of Design at leading institutes across India.   • Candidates with an AICTE-approved three-year full-time diploma after Class X are also eligible for some institutes like NID. 
  • There may be age limits for certain entrance exams (e.g., NID requires candidates to be born on or after July 1, 2004, for the General category).

BDes Entrance Exam Syllabus

UCEED BDes Result 2026

UCEED B.Des exam 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, 18 January 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, conducted by IIT Bombay. The official notification for UCEED 2026 was released on 1 October 2025, and the application process began in October 2025.

The UCEED results are expected to be declared in the first week of March 2026. Candidates can download detailed scorecards, which include marks, qualifying status, and All India Rank, valid for one year from the date of issue.

Seat allotment 2026 will be conducted in five rounds based on candidates’ UCEED 2026 All India Rank, category, and institute preferences. Provisional allotment letters are sent via email, and candidates must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 60,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL and Rs 15,000 for SC/ST/PwD category to confirm their seat. The process is entirely online, with opportunities to withdraw or exit between rounds as per the official schedule.

NID BDes Result 2026

The official NID BDes result dates for the 2026 admission cycle have now been scheduled. The Prelims exam was conducted on 21 December 2025, and the Prelims result was declared on 7 April 2026. Candidates could use the rechecking window from 8–9 April 2026. The Mains exam will be held in April 2026, with results expected in May 2026.

Candidates can check all results and updates on the NID admission portal (admissions.nid.edu) using their registered email ID and date of birth for login. Following the Mains results, the counselling and seat allotment process is scheduled from May to June 2026, including document verification, campus preference submission, and fee payment. Candidates must confirm their seats within the prescribed timeline to secure admission.
